Daniel Passantino, Artist and Owner

bottle2vase is a little business that turns empty bottles into vases and decanters with one-of-a-kind designs.  The glass is never put through a furnace or re-melted, keeping fuel use to an absolute minimum.

Since I create the patterns on my pieces by hand, one tiny detail at a time, each is an original. To guarantee the beauty of the finished designs won't fade or change, I engrave them with a sandblaster.

Sturdy enough for day-to-day use, resistant to wear, and easy to fit onto any table or shelf, my creations are unusually practical works of art. Many will look even better with a bundle of fresh flowers in them.

While the bottles I use in my work vary a bit in size, my vases are usually 6.5 to 8.5 inches tall, and have bases 2.75 to 3.5 inches wide. Most are in the
$40 to $80 price range.

-Although dishwasher safe in a pinch, I recommend gently cleaning your vases and decanters with a soft sponge and soapy water.-
